Albion was once home to the Albion State Normal School and later, Southern Idaho College of Education. The campus was later occupied by Magic Valley Christian College. Today, it has been renovated for The Campus Grove at Albion a unique historical retreat for family reunions, weddings or private getaways.

The Albion Valley is the gateway to the Silent City of Rocks. This National Reserve is only 30 miles south over the City of Rocks Scenic Backcountry Byway. On your way, you will parallel parts of the original Oregon Trail. Once there, the visitor will be treated to some of the most unique rock formations to be found anywhere in the world.

When passing through Albion, stop at one of the local businesses for food, gas or lodging. Be  sure and visit Pomerelle Ski Area  for both  winter and summer  fun! It's on the way  to Mt. Harrison and Lake Cleveland, where camping, fishing and hiking are all available.
